Walmor Chagas was a Brazilian actor, director, and producer born on August 28, 1930, in Porto Alegre. He won the prestigious Prêmio Saci award in 1956, one of Brazil's most notable film awards of the time. Chagas appeared in over 50 films and TV shows between 1965 and 2012, including his notable role as Dr. Vilaça in "Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas" (2001). He passed away on January 18, 2013.
