Biography

George Fawcett was a renowned American stage and screen actor of the silent era. He began his career as a Shakespearean actor, eventually founding his own acting troupe, the Fawcett Stock Company. On-screen, he showcased his versatility in notable roles like Pastor Voss in "Flesh and the Devil" (1926) and John Strong in "Ladies of Leisure" (1930), before returning to the stage in a production of The Great John Ganton at the Vine Theater in Los Angeles in 1930.
