Biography

Nacha Guevara is an Argentine singer-songwriter, dancer, and actress born Clotilde Acosta on October 3, 1940. She rose to prominence in the avant-garde movement of the 1960s, performing with poet Mario Benedetti and musician Alberto Favero, and later became a cult figure in the "cafe-concert" scene. Guevara's career spanned multiple countries, including Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Cuba, and Spain, before returning to her native country in 1984.
