Ayako Iijima
Biography
Ayako Iijima was a Japanese actress, dancer, singer, and voice actress who rose to prominence in the early Showa period. Born Ayako Iida in 1907, she was a student at the Imperial Theatre School, graduating in 1923 and later joined the theatre company Geijutsuza. She made her mark in silent films, including the 1926 film "A Page of Madness," and went on to pursue a career in voice acting, releasing songs on Columbia Records.
