Marina Figner

Biography

Marina Figner was a Soviet and Russian actress, active in theatre, film, and voice-over. Born in Petrograd in 1922, she began her career at 17, joining the Leningrad Theatre, and went on to work with several renowned theatres. Figner's film career spanned from 1940 to 1972, with her final screen appearance in 1972's "Zemlia, do востребования". She passed away in Moscow in 1991.
