Yu Uemura is a Japanese actor born on November 2, 2002, in Kagoshima Prefecture. He gained recognition for his role in Eisuke Naitō's film Forgiven Children (2020) and was nominated for the 75th Spontichi Grand Prix New Star Award. Uemura later won the award in 2021 and joined the talent agency Holipro in May 2025.
