Marek Piwowski is a Polish film director and screenwriter born on October 24, 1935, in Warsaw. He is best known for his cult film Rejs (1970), as well as the 1976 drama Przepraszam, czy tu biją?, which won two awards at the FPFF. Piwowski's work also includes Psychodrama (1972) and Uprowadzenie Agaty (1993), among other notable films.
