Eduardo Escorel is a Brazilian film editor and director born in 1945. He made his mark with Lição de Amor (1976), which won the Best Director Award at the Gramado Film Festival, followed by Ato de Violência (1980), awarded Best Director at the Brasília Film Festival. His films also garnered recognition for Best Editing at various festivals, including Guerra Conjugal and Dois Perdidos numa Noite Suja.
