Biography

Lola Dueñas is a Spanish actress born on October 6, 1971, to Nicolás Dueñas and María Navarro. She trained at the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona before making her feature film debut in Mensaka (1998), earning an Actors Union Award for Best New Performance. Known for notable roles in films such as "Zama" (2017) and "The Sea Inside" (2003), Dueñas has also received two Goya Awards for Best Actress, recognizing her contributions to Spanish cinema and television, including work in the French film industry.
