David Ryall

David John Ryall was a versatile English stage, film, and television character actor born on January 5, 1935, in Shoreham-by-Sea, Sussex. He had notable leading roles in Lytton's Diary and Goodnight Sweetheart, as well as memorable performances in The Singing Detective and To Play the King. Ryall also appeared in several British sitcoms, including Bless Me, Father and Outnumbered.
