Elke Maravilha was a German-Brazilian model, judge, presenter, and actress born in Leutkirch, Germany, to a Latvian father and German mother in 1945. She became a naturalized Brazilian at the age of 17 after her family emigrated to Brazil in 1949. A bilingual secretary with fluency in eight languages, Maravilha worked as a teacher before transitioning into modeling and acting at age 24.
