Biography

Zenaida Yanowsky is a French-born Spanish ballet dancer and former principal dancer with the Royal Ballet in London. Born on December 23, 1975, in Lyon, France, she began her dance career at her parents' school in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. Yanowsky won the silver medal at the Varna International Ballet Competition in 1991 and the gold medal at the Eurovision Young Dancers Competition in 1993.
