Sophie Renoir is a French actress born in 1964, whose heritage is deeply rooted in the arts. She is the great-granddaughter of Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir and the daughter of cinematographer Claude Renoir. Renoir's notable early work includes her roles in "L'ami de mon amie" (1987) and "Le Beau Mariage" (1982), for which she was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actress in 1988.
