Marion Keller
Biography
Marion Keller was a pioneering German physicist and journalist, best known for her work as a pioneering female filmmaker with the DEFA. She was a co-founder and led the editorial team of Wochenschau Der Augenzeuge from 1945 to 1949, producing 189 issue, featuring 8 films per year. Keller's academic background includes a philosophy and science studies at Paris and Berlin from 1929 to 1936, earning a dissertation on the norming of photographic negative material in 1936.
