Biography

Born Michael James Edwards in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, James relocated to Shanghai, China, where he studied and performed for three years before returning to the US to attend Purdue University. His breakthrough came in 2017 with roles in The Meanest Man in Texas and CBS's Wisdom of the Crowd. He gained further recognition for his portrayal of Jimmy Ashmore in the 2018 TV series Evil Doctor.
