Edgar Norfolk was a British actor born Edgar Greenwood on November 5, 1893. He is remembered for his notable roles in the films "Mine Own Executioner" (1947) and "Hotel Splendide" (1932), where he played Sir George Freethorne and 'Gentleman Charlie' respectively. His personal life was also marked by his marriage to actress Helen Saintsbury, daughter of actor H.A. Saintsbury.
