Biography

Sammy, a renowned orangutan actor, began his career at a Miami tourist attraction before being sold to a Los Angeles trainer who worked with chimpanzees in Hollywood. He starred in notable films like The Flintstones and Dunston Checks In, alongside his long-time companion and fellow actor Geri. After a career marked by both success and challenges, Sammy passed away in December 2010 due to heart failure, leaving behind his infant son Jam.
