William Rushton

Biography

William George Rushton was a British satirist and comedian, best known for co-founding the iconic magazine Private Eye. A graduate of Shrewsbury School, he went on to serve in the Army, where he developed his comedic skills. Rushton's early work appeared in The Wallopian, before he gained wider recognition as Dylan's Assistant in "The Bliss of Mrs. Blossom" (1968).
