Anok Yai

Biography

Anok Yai is a Sudanese-American model born on December 20, 1997. She gained recognition as the first Sudanese model to open a Prada show in 2018, and was named Model of the Year by Models.com in 2023. Before pursuing modeling, Yai studied biochemistry at Plymouth State University, where she intended to become a doctor, and was the first Black model to do so.
