Tetsu Komai
Biography
Tetsu Komai was a Japanese-American actor who appeared in over 50 films from the 1920s to the mid-1960s, often playing villainous Chinese characters described with derogatory terms. After immigrating to the US in 1907, he lived in Seattle before being interned at the Gila River War Relocation Center during WWII. Komai passed away in Gardena, California in 1970 due to congestive heart failure.
