Rimma Markova was a Russian film actress who began her career in the 1940s and continued to work throughout her life. In 1994, she was named a People's Artist of Russia, recognizing her contributions to the country's cinema. Later, she gained public recognition through regular appearances on Russian TV shows and her campaign for the Fair Russia party during the 2011 legislative elections.
