Stewart Armstrong Copeland was born on July 16, 1952, and rose to fame as the drummer for The Police, one of the most iconic rock bands of all time. After the band's initial hiatus, he continued to compose music, scoring films like Wall Street and Men at Work, as well as video games in the Spyro series. A highly acclaimed drummer, Copeland was ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as the fifth greatest drummer of all time and inducted into several music halls of fame.
