Mark Frechette

Biography

Mark Frechette was a Canadian-American actor born to an Irish American mother and French Canadian father, raised in a Catholic household. He gained recognition for his lead role in Michelangelo Antonioni's Zabriskie Point, despite limited acting experience. After this success, Frechette became involved with Mel Lyman's commune, the Fort Hill Community, before being arrested following an attempted bank robbery, leading to his untimely death in prison.
