Terence Alexander

Biography

Terence Joseph Alexander was born in London on March 11, 1923. He served as a lieutenant in the British Army during World War II and later began his acting career at age 16. Alexander is perhaps best known for his role as Charlie Hungerford in the British TV drama Bergerac, which ran from 1981 to 1991. He appeared in numerous other film and television roles throughout his career, including adaptations of The Forsyte Saga and Doctor Who.
