Tarık "Taro" Emir Tekin is a Turkish actor born on June 15, 1997, in Istanbul to actress Şevval Sam and retired footballer Metin Tekin. He studied drama at the Oxford School of Drama and began his acting career after returning to Turkey. Tekin rose to prominence with roles in the Netflix historical docudrama "Rise of Empires: Ottoman" and Kanal D's series "Sadakatsiz," and later led the series "Bir Peri Masalı."
