Biography
Harry Oakes Stubbs was a British-born American character actor who made his Broadway debut in The Bad Samaritan at 31 in 1905. He transitioned to film in 1929 and appeared in over 50 movies during the sound era's early years, including leading roles like Alibi. On stage, he worked with Harold Lloyd at Beverly Hills Little Theatre for Professionals in 1933. His career spanned Broadway and Hollywood.
