Biography

Charles Cahill Wilson was a versatile American actor who began his career on stage, starring in six Broadway plays between 1918 and 1931. He made his film debut as director of the 1928 comedy Lucky Boy, also featuring in its cast. Wilson's most notable role came as Clark Gable's boss in Frank Capra's It Happened One Night, a part he reprised in other Capra films like Mr. Deeds Goes to Town and It's a Wonderful Life.
