Biography

Donnie Dunagan is a semi-retired American former child actor and United States Marine Corps major. He is best known for his roles as Young Bambi in the Disney film (1942) and Peter von Frankenstein in Son of Frankenstein (1939). After retiring from voice acting, Dunagan enlisted in the Marine Corps at 18 and became a drill instructor, serving three tours in Vietnam and earning multiple honors. He retired with the rank of major in 1977.
