Professor Ben Garrod

Biography

Professor Ben Garrod is an English evolutionary biologist and primatologist, renowned for his work on great ape conservation. He has a distinguished academic background, having completed his PhD at University College London and the Zoological Society of London, where his thesis explored the evolution of monkeys in tropical islands. Garrod is a Professor of Evolutionary Biology and Science Engagement at The University of East Anglia, and has presented several television shows, including those with David Attenborough.
