Jeff Burr was a prolific American film director, writer, and producer known for his work in horror sequels. Born on July 18, 1961, in Aurora, Ohio, he grew up in rural Georgia and developed a passion for horror films. Burr attended the University of Southern California (USC), where he collaborated with fellow filmmakers R.A. Mihailoff and Kevin Meyer. He is best recognized for directing Stepfather II, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, and other horror classics.
