Darla Hood

Biography

Darla Hood was a child actress who starred in the Our Gang series from 1935 to 1941, playing a coquettish character that often captured the affections of her on-screen love interests Alfalfa, Butch, or Waldo. She began singing and dancing at a young age, courtesy of her mother's introduction to music lessons in Oklahoma City. After leaving the series, Hood transitioned to performing as a singer in nightclubs and on television.
