Biography

Gilberto González was a Mexican actor born in Mexico City in 1906. He gained recognition after landing an antagonistic role in the 1935 film Janitzio, which led to him being cast as major villains in subsequent films. His notable performances include Rebel Souls (1937) and Canaima (1945), for which he won the Ariel Award for best actor in a minor role. He passed away in 1954 due to a heart attack.
