Biography

Alex English is an American comedian and writer, born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He joined Saturday Night Live as a writer in 2021 and received three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Writing For A Variety Series. English has also written for BET's The Rundown with Robin Thede, Netflix's The Fix with Jimmy Carr, and appeared on Viceland's Funny How?. He is a rising star in the comedy world, recognized by Vulture and The New York Times.
