Danny Rolling was a serial killer who terrorized Gainesville, Florida, from 1987 to 1990. He murdered five students, including two University of Florida students, before being shot and killed by a police officer in 1990. Rolling's crimes shocked the nation and led to a renewed focus on campus safety and student awareness. His case remains one of the most infamous in American serial killer history.
