Anthony Warde

Biography

Anthony Warde was a prolific American actor who appeared in over 150 films between 1937 and 1964, initially gaining popularity as a henchman in 1930s and 1940s serials. He notably played the role of Killer Kane in Universal's adaptation of Buck Rogers (1939) and later excelled in character roles, including low-budget crime and Western styles. Warde also made appearances on television, including two episodes of Amos 'N' Andy, before his acting career came to an end with The Carpetbaggers in 1964.
