Sarah Padden was a character actress in theater and vaudeville from Chicago, Illinois, known for her expressive voice and psychological portrayals of complex characters. Her notable performances included The Clod, a stage production about an uneducated woman during the American Civil War, and roles in films such as Rich Man Poor Girl, Wild Girl, and Bad Girl. Padden also appeared in numerous other productions on the Orpheum Circuit and had a long screen career from 1926 to 1958.
