Peter Capell was a German actor whose career spanned from 1945 to 1985, with notable roles in the post-war film Winterset and Stanley Kubrick's Paths of Glory (1957). He also appeared in several films, including Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971), and later in television productions such as Derrick and Mamas Geburtstag. Capell's final role was just a year before his death in 1986, aged 73.
