Shelley Ann Beattie was a professional female bodybuilder and actress, known for her top-three finishes at the Ms. International and Ms. Olympia contests. As a deaf competitor, she made the cover of Deaf Life magazine twice in the 1990s, a testament to her remarkable achievements. Beattie also pursued a career in sailing, joining the crew of Mighty Mary for the 1995 Citizen Cup.
