Biography

Ruth Hyde Paine is an American teacher and former friend of Marina Oswald, whose husband Lee Harvey Oswald lived with her in her home for several months before the JFK assassination. As her host, Paine unwittingly stored the rifle used to kill President Kennedy in her garage. Paine, along with her husband Michael, was cleared by official government investigations, but conspiracy theorists have raised questions about their involvement.
