Gillian Hanna

Biography

Gillian Hanna was a founding member of The Project Arts Centre and a key figure in the feminist Monstrous Regiment Theatre Company, which she co-founded in 1975. The company produced a critically acclaimed production of Honor Moore's Mourning Pictures in 1981, featuring original music by Tony Haynes. Hanna's work also included translations, with her providing the original translation for Gavin Richards' adaptation of Accidental Death of an Anarchist in 1979.
