Alma Lucy Reville, Lady Hitchcock, was an English screenwriter and film editor born on August 14, 1899, in St. Ann's Nottingham. She collaborated with her husband Alfred Hitchcock on films like Shadow of a Doubt, Suspicion, and The Lady Vanishes. A skilled cutter and scriptwriter, Reville worked at Twickenham Film Studios from an early age, gaining valuable experience that paved the way for women in film-making.
