Charlie Mackesy

Biography

Charlie Mackesy is a British artist and illustrator, born on December 11, 1962. He gained recognition for his book "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse" (2019) and its sequel "Always Remember: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, the Horse and the Storm" (2025). Mackesy's work includes a series of drawings for Comic Relief, including a set created for the film "Love Actually" (2003), and a collaboration with Nelson Mandela on the Unity Series project.
