Charles McKeown

Biography

Charles McKeown is a British actor and writer, born in 1946, who has collaborated extensively with Terry Gilliam on numerous projects, including Monty Python's Life of Brian and various films and TV shows that launched his career. He studied acting at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and began working in comedy with roles in Ripping Yarns and Fawlty Towers. McKeown went on to appear in a string of iconic films and series alongside Gilliam, cementing his reputation as a versatile comedic actor.
