Biography

Sogyal Rinpoche was a Tibetan Dzogchen lama and founder of Rigpa, an international network of Buddhist centres and groups in 23 countries. He wrote the bestselling book "The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying" and taught for 40 years in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia before retiring in 2017 due to abuse allegations. His legacy has been marred by accusations of sexual and physical assault, as well as misusing charitable funds.
