Tang Wei is a Chinese actress born on October 7, 1979, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. She rose to international fame for her role in Golden Lion-winning Lust, Caution (2007), and gained further acclaim for performances in Late Autumn (2010), Finding Mr. Right (2013), and Long Day's Journey into Night (2018). A recipient of numerous awards, including two Baeksang Arts Awards, Tang is the first Asian actor to win the Trophée Chopard at Cannes Film Festival.
