Jacques Beauvais was a French actor active from 1911 to 1964, best known for his roles as maîtres d'hôtels in several films. He also appeared in over 100 silent and sound films, with notable appearances including his role as the café owner in the 1949 film "Jour de fête". A prolific performer with a long career, Beauvais's filmography remains largely unremarked upon. His acting work was largely limited to small roles and brief appearances.
