Armand Meffre

Biography

Armand Meffre was a French actor born in Maubec, Vaucluse in 1929. He began his career in the performing arts, studying painting and receiving mentorship from Justin Grégoire, before joining a troupe of amateur comedians. His collaboration with Roger Planchon led to a four-year partnership, during which he portrayed iconic figures such as Molière and Bertolt Brecht.
