Yves Jacques is a Canadian film and television actor born in Quebec City in 1956. He studied theatre at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe before becoming known for his role as Claude in Denys Arcand's The Decline of the American Empire and The Barbarian Invasions. Jacques has since appeared in numerous films, theatrical productions, and tours, including two shows by Robert Lepage, earning him recognition from both Canada and France.
