Emmanuel Machuel is a French cinematographer born on June 12, 1934, in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He has received recognition for his work, including the Osella d'or for Best Photography at the Venice Film Festival in 1997 for Pedro Costa's film "Ossos". Machuel was also nominated for the César Award for Best Cinematography in 1992 for Maurice Pialat's "Van Gogh".
