Laëtitia Ky is a feminist artist from Ivory Coast, born in 1996 in Abidjan. She created a name for herself in the natural hair movement after discovering the American movement at 16, and began sculpting her hair in 2016, inspired by traditional African styles. Her work gained attention, leading to a viral sculpture in 2017, and she now regularly posts her hair sculptures on Instagram, inspiring other black women.
